It's been another busy and productive week at The Cooperative Nursery School! We have continued to expand on our robot interest. We had lots of fun last week using all of the interesting pieces we collected while taking apart the electronics to create robots with air dry clay. We also used the pieces, along with some silver paint and sharpies to transform some old boxes into an amazing robot that is now hanging over the fireplace in the downstairs circle. A special thanks to Blue's family for bringing in the awesome robot they made at home and sharing it with the downstairs circle. We were all incredibly impressed!
We have also been busy noticing the spectacular transformation nature has provided us with and enjoying the spectacular fall foliage. We sorted by color some beautiful red, orange and yellow maple leaves and made several leaf collages which are hanging in our window. On friday we took a walk through the Wissahickon and collected two big bags full of beautiful leaves. We simply could not have asked for a more beautiful fall day and a wonderful time was had by all. Thanks to all the parents who helped us out by driving and accompanying us on this fun trip.
